Re-Qualification Training at Azerbaijan

We recently completed a successful Re-Qualification training in Azerbaijan. This specialized training focused on our proprietary Brush Plating process, specifically tailored for anti-galling copper plating on both premium and non-premium OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) connections. Our training programs are designed to ensure that operators are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality copper-plated deposits on critical oil tool connections, such as those produced by manufacturers like JFE, VAM, and Tenaris.

Comprehensive Training for Excellence
The training, conducted over a 6–7-day period, was structured to include both theoretical and practical components. During the theory sessions, trainees were introduced to the core principles of Brush Plating, understanding its advantages, and learning the specific benefits it offers in anti-galling applications.
Our trainees also received in-depth instruction on the essential equipment and accessories, including our Power Pack, Peristaltic Pumps, Turning Heads, and Anodes. This hands-on training ensured familiarity with the tools and methods required for a precise and efficient Brush Plating process.

Hands-On Lessons
Practical sessions focused on key areas such as handling chemicals, masking procedures, anode wrapping, and equipment maintenance. Trainees were guided through the process of pre- and post-inspections, as well as the critical steps involved in performing adhesion tests after the copper plating process.
One key aspect of the practical training was the emphasis on precision. Trainees were taught the necessary calculations and formulas to ensure consistent and high-quality plating results. Mastering these skills is essential to delivering the durability and adhesion our customers expect from our Brush Plating technology.

Certification and Confidence
At the conclusion of the training, an efficiency test was conducted to evaluate the trainees’ proficiency in applying Brush Plating for anti-galling purposes. Those who successfully passed the test were awarded both a certificate and an identification card, certifying their competence to perform Brush Plating on products from leading OCTG manufacturers such as JFE, VAM, and Tenaris. This certification ensures that our clients can confidently perform high-quality Brush Plating, enhancing the longevity and performance of their OCTG connections.
