Romania VAM Re-Qualification Training

We recently concluded a successful in-situ/on-site training for our customer based in Romania, focusing on VAM Oil tool connection requalification training. Our program included both practical and theoretical lessons for our Brush Copper Plating process on VAM Oil Tools connections. The training aimed to refresh the knowledge and skills of existing trainees while familiarizing new trainees with our Brush Copper Plating process.

Theoretical Lessons:
Participants had to attend our Brush Copper Plating requalification lessons for premium oil tool connections. The curriculum aligns with the stringent standards set by major oil tool component manufacturers like Vallourec. The training began with theoretical lessons on Brush Plating Technology, its applications, and the schematic diagram of our plating procedure. We introduced various components of our Brush Plating Equipment, including the rectifier, peristaltic pump, anodes, and chemicals, as well as explaining essential formula calculations which are crucial for the plating process.

Hands-On Practical Experience:
Practical sessions provided hands-on experience, ensuring participants gained both theoretical knowledge and practical skills for excellent brush plating. Our experienced trainers guided participants through every step, including plating procedures, handling of powerpacks and chemical solutions, anode wrapping, masking procedures, plugging of connection bores, equipment maintenance, pre- and post-inspection, and conducting adhesion tests after copper plating.

Accreditation and Certification:
Upon successful completion of the training, our clients received global certification and qualification from Sterling Impreglon Asia. This certification enables them to brush copper plate oil tool components for major oil tool manufacturers, enhancing the robustness and longevity of these critical elements in the oil and gas industry. It also certifies them as licensees of these major oil tool component manufacturers
